Our Story
Built on Hard Work, Family Values, and a Commitment to Service
In 1984, Tom Stewart began his career as a service technician and drain cleaner with the Long Beach, CA Roto-Rooter Franchise.
Through dedication, long hours, and a commitment to quality, he worked his way up to the position of supervisor. But after eight years Tom and his wife Rhonda decided to take a leap of faith and pursue their dream of owning their own Roto-Rooter Franchise.
In February 1992, they acquired their own Roto-Rooter franchise, that services the entire Victor Valley area. At the time, the business was humble—just one van, one man, one machine, and one very large cell phone. Having come from a fast-paced franchise, the slow start in Victorville—sometimes only 4 jobs a week—was a challenge that tested their resolve. But Tom and Rhonda didn’t give up.
Through perseverance, customer service, and a dynamic team, they grew the business step by step. Tom went on to earn his A, C-36, and C-42 state contractor licenses, allowing the company to expand its services far beyond simple drain cleaning. Today, the business provides comprehensive plumbing solutions, septic tank pumping, as well as sewer and septic system installation and repairs.
Now, over 30 years later, what started as a one-man operation has become a thriving family-owned business. Tom and Rhonda’s sons are now helping to lead the company, and assist with carrying on the legacy of excellence, honesty, and reliability. With family at the heart of everything they do, the team is proud to serve the High Desert community and looks forward to continued growth in the years to come.
